Accessibility
Accessible use of this website.
This website has been built with WCAG 2.2 AA practices and Ontario AODA considerations in mind. Where something does not work for you, we would like to know.
What has been implemented
- Semantic page structure with a single main heading per page and a logical heading order.
- Full keyboard operation, including the menu, service index and question accordions, with visible focus indicators.
- A skip-to-content link at the start of every page.
- Text that remains readable and usable when enlarged to 200%.
- Form fields with associated labels, and validation messages announced to screen readers.
- Descriptive text for meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Information conveyed by text as well as colour, with contrast checked against WCAG 2.2 AA targets.
- Reduced decorative motion for visitors whose device requests reduced motion.
No accessibility overlay
This website does not use an accessibility widget or overlay. Accessibility is implemented in the pages themselves so that it works with the assistive technology you already use.
