Gingrich Harris Copeland is a Chartered Professional Accountant firm based in Parry Sound, Ontario, working with businesses, organizations and individuals across the province.
The firm
An accounting relationship, not a series of transactions.
Most of the firm's work is recurring: year-end reporting, corporate and personal filings, records maintained or reviewed, and the questions that arise in between. That continuity is what makes the advice useful — the second year of a relationship is more valuable than the first, because the organization is already understood.
The firm is small enough that the person preparing your reporting is the person you speak with about it, and structured enough to meet the professional standards that apply to Chartered Professional Accountants in Ontario.

Say what the numbers show
Reporting is explained in plain terms, including the parts that are less comfortable. A statement that is not understood is of little use to the person responsible for the decision.

Confirm scope before starting
What we will do, what you will provide and how fees are determined are agreed in writing before work begins, so the engagement is clear to both sides.

Keep the work connected
Reporting, tax and advisory work draw on the same records and the same understanding of the organization. Handling them together avoids inconsistency and repeated explanation.

Be reachable between year-ends
Many of the decisions that matter are made mid-year. Questions are answered when they arise, within the terms of the engagement.

Know the limits of the engagement
Where a matter calls for legal advice, an investment adviser or an authorization the firm does not hold, we say so and work alongside the appropriate professional.

Parry Sound, and the province around it.
The office is in Parry Sound, and much of the firm's work is for organizations in the surrounding area. Clients elsewhere in Ontario are served from the same office, with meetings held in person or remotely as the engagement requires.
The firm operates from one location. It does not maintain satellite offices.
